あまり着ていないので毛羽立ちも少なく綺麗な状態です。写真6から9を見て頂くとわかると思いますが、身頃も袖付も縫製がなく、ニットをまるっと編み上げるシームレス製法です。”Cashmere Made In Scotland”マークの付けられた全ての製品は「最高品質のカシミア繊維を使い、また最高水準の技術で作られ23項目以上もの厳しい品質検査に合格した製品にのみに与えられる価値のあるもの」とされ、伝統と格式高い由緒正しいニットでもあります。hawick cashmere社はLucien Pellat Finetのニットを手がけるなど上質な素材かつ、上質な技術で素晴らしいニットの会社です。johnstonsのカシミアセーターの着心地がとてもよいな、と思っていたらタグをみると、hawick社製でした。質の良いものをよく知っておられるニット好きな方は是非お試しください！

英国有数のカシミヤの産地として知られるホーウィック地方にて1874年に創業した老舗ニットメーカーの“HAWICK”。上質なカシミヤ素材を使用した柔らかな質感に、イタリア物のカシミヤニットにとはまた違ったツヤを抑えたオーセンティックな雰囲気は、BarbourやGRENFELLといったブランドには勿論、LARDINIやStile Latinoと合わせるMIXスタイリングがオススメです。
